If I could give them negative stars I would. This is a horrible company, with horrible customer service. My bill is not due for another couple of weeks but they want to charge me some reconnect fee and nsf fee. It makes absolutely no sense. absolutely the worst power company I have ever dealt with.

Place is a scam. There is no autopay option and they shut your power off for $40? ..and charge you a reactivation charge. Of course they give you a 'friendly reminder call' and then shut your power off the next day. I've had my power shut off 5 times in 2 years and 0 times the previous 30 before I was forced to use this joke of a provider.

I read some of the negative reviews and I just had to chime in. We have lived in Huntersville for 20 years - and Electricities has been great at restoring power after outages - where we were up in a matter of hours, other surrounding areas were out for day(s). They have great customer service every time I call. And, I've asked others about the cost of their electricity in surrounding areas and I feel that we have great value.

No oversight, no governing body for checks and balances according to business manager, not governed by nc utilities commission, so no oversight, they continue to overcharge and refuse to do any studies to check the efficiencies of their meter readings...Please Duke Power, buy them out, please
