We experienced a power outage last night being the only house in our neighborhood. Called Tideland EMC and s crew was dispatched almost immediately. Situation was fixed and power restored. Thank you to the Tideland EMC crew who came! Very professional and courteous!

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND HORRIBLE SERVICE SETUP!!! Just had a really bad experience with this company, tried to set up power 3 weeks ago and paid 300 dollars up front that HAD TO BE PAID they lost my inspection paperwork and never even put in a work order like they said they did. Me and my 3 kids have been living in a camper, during 2 hurricanes WAITING ON POWER!

We moved into our house in Hyde county June 2017. Tideland sent a man out to review our house, insulation, windows etc. He told us how to reduce our costs and more efficiently cool our house. There was no charge for this energy audit. This year we lost electricity while we were evacuated for Hurricane Florence. We received texts when our house lost power, and updates until power was restored. It made us feel connected and in touch while we were forcibly away from home. I love Tideland EMC.
