Worst company every. Terrible customer service. Suggest solar panels and get rid of them.

I have been a customer of South Central Power for over a decade. This year having a lot of financial issues due to health. So, now I am in the process of selling my home. I was charged $33 two times for disconnect, $66 two times for reconnect, and oh yes the icing on the cake $202 deposit. So, over $400 in just fees 32 days, not service. The deposit will be 'returned' in 6 months. Mind you I will not be a customer since I am selling. I asked them if they can waive the deposit fee and I will pay all of the other charges. No and No was the response.

Worst Customer Service Ever! They are very rude and refuse to listen when you try to explain anything to them. They know that they have a monopoly on service in the area, so they know that they have no competition, therefore, their customer service is non-existent. AEP PLEASE expand your service areas!

Online payment is terrible, hard to recover your account if you forgot the password. Not friendly
