I was surprised that I could get a full quote and details within minutes of my phone call--all online and without scheduling a site visit. This was so different from others where I had to schedule and the visit took way too much of my time. It's been 8 months since installation and everything has been working smoothly and love getting the checks for payments that are outmatching my small bills so far. We are on track for zero electrical bills for the year. Installation went smoothly, though took a bit longer to get fully connected from the electric company end. Sad that our panels were working for weeks before recognized by the company. Loved that we got our roof and tree trimming costs connected to the install, so that made our rebate larger.

I contacted Jim Noden a few years back, inquiring about what would be involved in a solar installation. He took the time to speak with me by phone and work up a detailed proposal, which I reviewed in depth, but it was not the right time for me and he did not pressure me in any way, nor did he contact me subsequently., after advising him of my thinking.Earlier this year, I was at a local home show and spoke with another solar company, looking to see what the state of solar electric was. Based upon the information given, I invited them out to my home, where they provided a detailed overview of how solar works and their particular offering. They provided a detailed quote but then I recalled having spoken to Jim a few years back and as he was a local company, I felt that I should reach back out to him for a comparison.Well, there was none. Jim, once again, provided an updated and detailed proposal for my home, based upon analysis of my past electric usage. What he came back with was a quote for a system that was larger than the one he had originally quoted, more efficient and several thousand dollars cheaper, not just compared to the other company, but the earlier quote from him! It is true that particularly with technology, quality and efficiency improves with future development and so prices drop.My wife and I decided to go with Jim. I did a good bit of due diligence not just on Jim and his company, but also with past customers of his. I could not find anything other than a 5 star rating. The other customers were very happy with their respective experiences with Jim and Brighteye. I contacted Jim with any number of questions, almost daily, and he or his staff always responded and never made me feel as if I was a bother.Financing was offered through a finance company who specializes in solar installs but I requested to arrange my own financing and I received no push-back for doing so. I was handheld through completion of final plans, submittal to the township and necessary approvals, all of which were handled by Jim and his team. It took about a month to complete those steps. Installation began a few weeks later.Installation was completely painless. Site foreman Logan and his technicians were both efficient and professional. They were polite and there was no evidence of them after they left each day. Installation took about 4 days and then office staff handheld me through getting my new system filed with PP&L as well as getting my remote monitoring up and running and finally, connected me to the company who would eventually broker my energy certificates, as my system generated sufficiently to qualify for them. The system has been running for 3 months. I have not cut back on comfort settings in any way and I am already 260kw AHEAD for the month, meaning that I have sent the electric company energy above and beyond my usage. At 20 days into my August monthly cycle, my 'bill' is minus 21.38, essentially reflecting the dollar savings of the excess power generation. I will still get a monthly bill for about 17.00 because PPL does do a lot of work handling electrical flow to and from my house and precisely monitoring that flow on their website. I am also able to monitor my production and other statistics on my phone and home computer.I am now a firm believer in the power of solar and recommend not just solar but Brighteye solar(!) for a detailed analysis of what solar can do for you.

Bright Eye, from beginning to end, was the company to choose when deciding to go solar! They were quick to respond, fair, kind, and speedy. Our installation days were insanely hot, and they worked hard, left our lawn clean, and moved in a quick timely fashion. We are so happy we chose to go solar and so thankful we chose Bright Eye after lots of research!!!

Hi, we have recently had our 12.4 kw system completed by Bright Eye Solar at our Kutztown area home. We are very happy so far with the completed project. It did take a considerable amount of months to do the project from beginning to end but alot of that reason was due to us choosing to design and have a pergola structure built by another contractor prior to Bright Eye doing there solar install. We then had Bright Eye Solar design and install 34 of the total 40 panel system unto that newly constructed pergola with the remaining 6 panels installed on our detached pole garage roof. They took care of all the solar related permits and set us up with a broker that we can then sell our earned SRECs to. Our salesperson Jack was always very outgoing and polite and did everything in his power to make things go as seamless as he possibly could for us. I would recommend to check Bright Eye Solar out for yourself and see what they can do for you to help you and your family save money now and in the future.

A great company to do business with - extremely communicative with every step of the solar installation process. All of their employees are friendly and make everything as easy as possible for the customer. I would recommend them to anyone looking to get solar.
