Install crew was great and answered all my questions!

We recently had panels installed, and I'd highly recommend this company, based on the great customer service we have received. The in home sales agent was fantastic and answered all our questions. Installation was scheduled quickly. The crew arrived on time, and was great the 2 days they were on site. All members of the crew were very respectful, clean, and quick to explain things if I had questions. Having 3 children at home, I'm always a little nervous about crews working in my house, but the crew that arrived was fantastic! I'm glad we made the choice to go with this company.

An associate came out to my parent's house 2 months ago to give them a quote for their house. My mom told me I should come over for the presentation just to learn since this was something I was considering doing. It turned out Solar really wouldn't have been a good fit for them and so out of curiosity, the associate looked at my address to see if the conditions were right for panels and it turned out that they were perfect. So he gave me a quote for an 8 panel system because that was all I would have needed and I found that it was surprisingly more affordable than I thought it would be. So after asking all the questions I could think of over email, I told the associate as well as his supervisor who was put on the email chain about halfway thru that I was ready to proceed and to let me know what the next step was. He had told me in the initial presentation that it would be 40+ days out. So I referred a guy who built a patio in the back of my house for me - we had gotten on the conversation about the solar panels and I had said about how that was my next project. Well he ended up going with the company as well to get over 60 panels for his house. So several weeks later, he called me just the other day to ask if I had gotten my panels installed yet and how they were working out. I told him no I hadn't heard anything from the company but that they did say it would be 40+ days out and that I figured they would be reaching out to me soon. Well he told me that's kinda weird because they would be starting on his the next day. I said well that's kinda weird I thought for sure they would install in the order they received them. So I sent a follow up email to the chain I had already been corresponding with asking them about it, that I thought they would have started mine before his and I reminded them that I had said I was ready to proceed and I asked if I had missed anything and if they could let me know. Well almost immediately, I got a return message from the associate saying my email had been blocked, not failed to deliver but actually blocked. I thought what in the world is going on? I did copy the associate's supervisor on that email though and actually did get a response from him. He seemed confused as he couldn't find record of me anywhere in their system despite being on the email chain. Even though he wasn't on copy of the initial email messages, he should still be able to see the message history even having been copied halfway thru the chain. Well I was told by the supervisor that he was going to have to come out and do a new quote which he did yesterday. The new quote was nearly DOUBLE the price of the quote I had done 2 months ago! That was NOT in my budget. So after 2 months of getting my hopes up that I could actually go solar because I thought it was affordable, this company did this to me and wouldn't budge on their prices despite it being THEIR mistake. This was not a good experience at all and I am now VERY sorry to have even recommended anyone to them. This is NOT how you do business with people!EDIT: It seems their reaching out to you saying how might we get in touch with you as you frequently see in differing negative reviews isn't really a genuine offer either. I called the headquarters and forwarded the email chain with the original quotes to the person I spoke with and she said she'd call me back. She never did and I got no response from her when emailing. This review stands until they decided to right their wrong.
