SCREC South Carolina Renewable Energy Commission

My son and I have a two story home here in Lexington, SC. We didnt know much about solar, but after meeting with Jacob from SCREC he explained that we could switch to renewable energy, start owning our power for less than we were already paying our electric company! So glad we made the switch, and had SCREC oversee our project! Weve already started saving close to $60 a month from what we were paying our electric company, with NO out of pocket expense for install!

This was definitely one of the best decisions we have made. These guys are really great!! We are so pleased with the company and the hard work all of them have done! The solar Pannels are working great, just as promised from the beginning!!

I didnt know much about solar until I met Ian and Stephen. I came into their showroom in Lexington, SC and was very impressed. They were able to bring my home up to modern efficiency and completely eliminate my power bill while saving me money every month. Couldnt be happier with my experience.

***UPDATE: So apparently the problem was not with the company, but a bad sales rep. The company has reached out and is planning to make things right. We have been working with AJ and he has been wonderful. Once everything is done that has been promised, I will do a final update.FYI- I 100% believe in Solar, but DO NOT recommend SC Renewable Energy Commission. We had solar installed in December with them with the guarantee that we would no longer have an electricity bill and it would be replaced with a bill to pay off the cost of the solar panels. We are 5 months in and each month we've had 2 bills to pay (solar loan AND electric bill that is NOT $0) and have yet to see an electricity bill that has been covered by our almost $50,000 solar panels. Additionally, they were supposed to install a nest, which they did not do. They said they would send another nest as well, which they did not do. We have tried multiple times to reach out to them and we are completely ignored. I strongly recommend you find another solar company to work with.I always read reviews prior to big purchases, and I cannot understand why we had such a bad experience with such great reviews. I am so disappointed. If they come knocking on your door, don't buy into their empty promises.
