The original installation went well but the permitting and inspection have dragged on for over 8 months and we are unable to use the system during this entire time. We were notified of the lack of permitting and SCGE approval after the system was installed over 2 years ago. Very frustrated by the lack of communication. Would not recommend.

We are well pleased with Edgewater Energy and Kevin. They handled everything - the county permits, installation of new roof and solar panels and even communication with our electric company, SCE&G. The whole process from start to finish was great. If you're thinking about installing solar panels or just need more information, we highly recommend this company.

I bought a house that had an Edwater Energy system already on it, I drive an electric car and needed a larger installation. Jim and the team took care of everything we needed. They even handled surprise paperwork from SCE&G that popped up over a year after the upgraded install. They also did all the interacting with the HOA on my behalf saving that inconvenience.

Edgewater Energy is a great company for solar energy in this area. I've my panel on since 2013 and love the results. Couldn't ask for a better company and I have referred them to others. When I didn't understand something they were right there on the spot. Great Business Company.
