Go with VIVINT!!!NEVER GO THROUGH RELIANT NRG FOR SECURITY. I got the service because It was convenient. It was the worst mistake ever!I've been with this company for over 4 years, and I've never had any horrible issues with them until now. I tried for 4 weeks to cancel my security service. they hung up in my face, left me on hold for hours just to hang up, and transferred me to several different people.I sent an email, and they still took 30 days to cancel my services.It was very expensive compared to Vivint.

Signed up for a flat rate found out they switched us over to an average rate and charged a high delivery charge. Dont listen to the door to door salesmen they have no idea what they are talking about. After being lied to about our initial plan they did nothing to help figure out the issue. Again thankyou reliant for nothing. Murica.

Door to door person came to my home as well I was told I was being signed up for 7.5 cents per kilowatt hour but instead got put on to 14 cents per kilowatt hour and have filed a complaint with puc was told I could switch plans without penalty but every time I called him they have no idea what I'm talkin about I continuously had to send them copies puc letter that they themselves have gotten even though their companies the one that offered for me to switch without a fee and so now I'm stuck with a bill I can't pay and I'm unable to switch to one I can pay without anyone trying to fix it. Jeremy. Nice man, terrible lies.

Tried canceling an account when I moved. It stayed canceled for a month. Logged in today and it was active, paid like a fool, and call and get told I owe next month's bill too. Asked to cancel and that'll set me back another $150.
