I used this company a while back, and have been extremely frustrated with how they have handled things since their visit. We had an outlet installed in our bathroom (there weren't any outlets in the only full bath in my house), and I also wanted to see if they could take a look at another outlet in the house that wasn't working. They had two guys crawling around in the attic for about an hour and eventually said they couldn't figure out why the outlet wasn't working. Meanwhile, there were two other guys working on installing the new outlet in the bathroom. When they were done, the new outlet was installed directly below the light switch, and since there was only a tiny space between the light switch panel and the tile on the wall, they roughly trimmed the new outlet panel so it would fit. It looks ridiculous and tacky. I am also not sure why they needed 2 people to do this (I am not even sure two people would even fit in that bathroom). A couple of weeks after they left, the outlet stopped working completely, and when they came back out to see why, it had started working again and they insinuated that I should have a man come over and look at it before calling them back out. All-in-all they charged me for 4 people working 3 hours each (that's 12 hours worth of work to have one crappy outlet installation). The outlet has since given out completely and once again we do not have an outlet in that bathroom. I have refused to pay the bill, and they have since sent it to collections. So, I am in collections, have a broken, ridiculous-looking outlet, and they want me to pay them close to $300 for that. I really think their business was slow and they thought they could recoup some funds from a single woman. They have not been understanding and won't work with me to come fix it and lower my bill. I don't understand why they needed so many people to come out and essentially not do anything but I will also not be calling them again. Hire them at your own risk.

I'm pretty frustrated with our experience. I asked Denton Electric Inc. to come out to bid on the things that needed to be fixed as identified in our inspection. I also asked if it was possible to get two things fixed we knew we wanted fixed no matter what (outlets with no power and a light in my daughter's room that was very dim). The technician arrived, listened attentively as I told him again what we wanted, read through the entirety of the inspection report, looked at the light in my daughter's room, and came back downstairs. Then he tells me (an hour later) he is NOT the one who does any bids and his ticket said he was only fixing some outlets. Annoying, but okay. I get it. Then he tells me he cannot fix the light in my daughter's room, and would not be able to do it. Not only that, but now the light that was dim won't even turn on! I literally just got her dressed in the dark. He charged me 90. Half of that was him reading a report knowing he COULD NOT do anything about it. Then he left our home in WORSE electrical shape than when it started. Then I asked about if we would get a call about the bid work and he told me I would need to call back -- as if it were my mistake. I am SO frustrated by the service here.

I've used them three times. The first time I got what I thought was a great deal. The second time, the guys left for about an hour and tried to charge me for the time that they were gone. The third time, today, they did the same thing. They showed up at 8:30, left for an hour to get the parts they needed, then charged me for that hour. I will not call for the 2nd time and ask for a credit on my bill. What I will do, instead, is let everyone know that this company seems to be lacking in the ethics department. Find another electrical company, one that doesn't show up lacking the supplies they need then charge you for their time to go back to the shop and get what they need. They arrived at my house at 830, left at 9, came back at 10, left for good at 11:30 and billed me for 4 hours for each man. That is against the law.

There is a long story, but the short of it is that they were supposed to come at 8am, got lost and so didn't show up until 830 (totally fine) then after being there for 10 minutes stepped through the roof (accidents happen) spent the rest of the time cleaning up the insulation and ductaping the hole closed. Never received a call afterwards from anyone apologizing and saying they would fix it. I finally called later that day just to make sure the ball was rolling on getting someone out to repair. We had a baby crawling around and insulation was falling. They seemed annoyed that I called and was trying to get it fixed ASAP. They paid for the repair but tried to bill us for an hour and a half of labor for 2 men. When I explained that seemed unreasonable to the owner he was not apologetic or understanding, he said they start their service hours when they leave their shop. He said all he would do was lower the price to bill me for one hour instead of an hour and a half. So we paid 175$ to get a hole in the ceiling after 10 min of their staff being there. Our problem was an easy fix with the breaker. We understand accidents happen and the staff that came to our house was friendly, however we won't be using them or recommending them because we don't trust that we'll be taken care of if there is another accident. Customer service seems to be a low priority for office staff and owner who were not kind or understanding.
