My partner is on oxygen and our electricity went out at 10pm hello no emergency # where it's an emergency call. Still waiting for assistance. They suck plus our bill keeps going up.

LP&L are....in a word...crooks! I have electricity, gas and Water all from different companies and my water bill (LP&L) is by FAR the most expensive out of all my utility bills. And I mean by FAR. It is usually TRIPLE than my electricity bill!! LP&L is a business that cares about thier bottom line and NOT the customer and whats worse is there arent many choices which is why they can do whatever they want. If you can move out of the city limits or get on a well or anything else to get out from LP&Ls thumb, no crushing hand; then I recommend you do it!

LP&L's reputation is clear for all to see. I spoke to a very courteous and professional woman working for LP&L named Rhiannon. She was a delight;however, LP&L is a monopoly and bureaucracy. I've been a customer for five years and they require a 'good faith' deposit for anyone TRANSFERING services to another location unless you have excellent payment history which means ZERO late payments In a 12 month period. I think any fair minded person would say 1-2 payments that we're 1-2 days late in which you paid the 5% late fee is not unreasonable as we are all humans but not LP&L. They do nothing in 'good faith'. They are a bloated government monopoly that is difficult and frustrating to do business with.

I wish I could rate this with 0 stars. I have plenty of not good things to say about this company. To start, however, it is impossible to get ahold of these people unless you make the trip all the way to their office. Why even have a phone number if there is no way of talking to an actual person when calling it. Secondly, the prices are OUTRAGEOUS. All this company wants to do is scam everyone. I wish there was another company that provided utility services, because LP&L sucks! 10/10 do NOT recommend.

Worst electric service in the world. Payed them two times and came and turned my electricity off and had to wait 7 hours for them to turn it back on. Then charged me 55 dollars to have it turned back on. You guys are absolute garbage. Id put less stars if I could.
