I'm not trusting of the electric Co. because I've had a lot of problems with billing, and many dangerous health risks blamed to be on this Elec. Co. The menu is always changing on automated ph. system and you cannot speak with mgmt. about concern's.

They have a Monopoly in Cherokee County! So they charge what the they want and we have zero other options. We need to vote to deregulate Cherokee County Co Op so we have other options for our electric providers!

The COVID-19 pandemic of 2020 has left millions of US citizens without jobs and struggling to pay bills or buy food. And Cherokee County is no exception. However most companies understand the situation and have implemented new guidelines to help it's customers during these hard times. Their concerns are for the people whom they serve. The CCECA is not one of those companies, calling them is of no use they will tell you that as a Co_Op they do things differently and that there will be no extensions or adjustments made on accounts. This is the worst customer service based company l have ever dealt with in my entire life. They're fleecing it's customers with fees that are made up to boost our monthly bill and are slow to respond to outtages. Such a disingenuous company. I wish they were regulated by the State of Texas. And force them to conduct their company in an ethical way!!!

Constant brownouts and constant off and on to the point that several of our appliances have been fried and ruined. Always strange to me how the power can stay on in high winds, heavy rain, and hail, but then go off two hours after a storm and stay off for 6+ hours. Awful service, exorbitant costs, terrible and unreliable service. Wish I had another option, but they have a monopoly here in the area.
