Great experience from start to finish. They were extremely prompt and thorough in answering all my questions when it came to everything about the system, installation, and working with the city and utility companies for permitting. I hadn't done anything like this before, but it was a breeze with their help. If you are considering solar at all, you owe it to yourself to at least check these guys out.

I took the plunge into solar after many years of research. Over those years I had gotten 3 different quotes waiting for the turn-key cost to decrease. I was aware that the cost of components was coming down, but it seemed that the turn-key price just wouldnt budge. For my house installation this number was just less than $30k. I knew that I wanted to offset my impact to the environment, but I just couldnt stomach that cost. It was just over a month ago that I started to look into doing it myself. I knew that I had the ability to complete the job. What I was lacking was the experience.Enter Solar Wholesale. Working with Kerry, I went through a few different iterations of the type of install that I wanted. Kerry had nothing but positive responses and offered great solutions to help me get exactly what would work for my family. I installed the system and worked through the City of Seattle and Seattle City light to complete my 5 different inspection and turned on my system 3 days ago.Looking back could I have sourced all of the components from suppliers on different websites and saved a fair bit of money? Yes. But, what you are paying for with Solar Wholesale is the experience that they bring to the table from permitting documents and structural engineering stamps to that last mid-clamp or zip tie that you didnt know that you needed. With this, I give Solar Wholesale 5 stars. I would surely recommend them to my friends and colleagues as well as any random people on the internet. Send them a mail, you wont be sorry.

I really like what these guys have done online and with their helpful videos. However, I have called them 3 times and sent them 2 emails and they have yet to return any of my phone calls or emails. I don't understand how they intend to 'Disrupt' the industry when they can't even return a single phone call or email. Extremely disappointed considering I was so excited to use them.

The knowledge is awesome, the kits are really nice for people who don't want to worry about having to buy anything and piece together a system on there own. The kits make one less thing to worry about on a DIY project. I was advised the panels tend to out preform by about 5 watts which is even better! I have no complaints with the process and I am very excited to install the system when it arrives! If there is anything I would improve it would be to offer a wider range of panel selection for the kits. Will update with pictures when the system is fully installed!

Installed a 5.89 kW system with their DIY kit. The permitting and inspection process was a breeze thanks to the plan set provided. Actually installing the panels was a bit more involved than anticipated but very manageable with a hand or two. They also have great videos on youtube that walk you through the process. Kerry was very quick to respond either through email, text, or phone to help answer any questions i had. Overall very happy with the process and when compared to a couple of quotes I received, I saved $9-$10k doing it myself.
