After some delays of delivery and building permit, the installation proceeded safely and cleanup was thorough. Building inspector and electric company approved the work, paperwork for federal credit was delivered and our annual expenses dropped to about 1/3 of previous.

I submitted the Solar Holler online application form to receive an estimate but never heard back from anyone, not even so much as an email. So after 2-3 weeks I called the Solar Holler number and left a message on their voicemail and my call was never returned. Apparently Solar Holler is not interested in providing solar power systems to the masses/ common person but only for government entities or situations where Solar Holler can receive government tax credit cash out incentives. If companies like Solar Holler cannot make a profit installing a 5-10 kW grid-tied and battery backup solar power system for citizens such as myself then the solar industry will not sustain itself.
