DC Solar installed system for 3 years. We have been very happy with its performance.

Several years ago I obtained quotes for a solar system from some of the larger companies. Fortunately I came across DC Solar Electric. Their pricing beat the other quotes substantially and they installed an upgraded system. We went with a 15KW system which provides about 23,000 hours a year of electricity. As such, this is enough power to run a pool, home, A/C in the summer at 73 degrees and charge an electric car like a Leaf or Volt. We also were able reduce our propane usage by 2/3rds as we converted from propane heat to electricity. At the end of the 12 month true-up, we typically zero out and owe monies. The quality of workmanship by DC Solar is top notch! The system has run flawless and their customer service is outstanding anytime questions arise. I highly recommend this company as their pricing is very competitive, service is outstanding, and they are local based company in Northern CA.

Great people. Great service. From start to finish, could not have been better. Really explained EVERYTHING! In detail and totally patient throughout. Saved me a couple THOUSAND dollars, against the local guys, and just beat the pants off the big box guys at Solar City, who wanted me to sign a lease. After theyd (DC) told me what the SC guys were leaving out, it was a NO Brainer. And they gave me a bottle of wine as a thank you. It cost me about $10 more than the contract stated, but thats only because I got Gatorade for their installers. So that wasnt even on them. Thanks guys.
