SunPower by Hooked On Solar

The car we were following from Hwy 80, in Auburn, Northbound on Hwy 49, at 6:25pm, Sunday 10/15 towards Grass Valley needs to stop using his phone while driving. The driver was a dark haired, middle-aged man driving, wearing reader glasses while using his phone in his lap. He hit his brakes for green lights, barreled up behind people stopping at a red light - then braked hard, all while he had a young boy riding in the front seat of the company car.Not a great role model for the company or the young boy, let alone a very hazardous driver to us, who share the road.

Hooked on Solar was great to work with. Our PG&E bills were out of this world and with the latest rate hike set to go even higher. There was no hard sell, ( Nicole even told my sister she didn't need solar as her electric bills didn't warrant the expense). The process was very easy. I had a great time with the installation crew too. What a nice bunch of fun guys. Hooked on Solar then made sure their representative was on site when the county inspector arrived to make sure the inspection went smoothly. We were approached by multiple solar companies in the past, but Hooked on Solar was the only one that I felt comfortable with, and which was able answer all my questions; Nicole is very knowledgeable. I highly recommend, if you need solar, to go with Hooked on Solar.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience getting our home solar system designed and installed by Hooked On Solar. The education that I received in the process researching this was extremely useful, as well, and I feel like somewhat of an expert on the subject after going through the entire process. I received some amazing technical information which helped me learn about the different panels available out there, and to make a very educated decision, for this substantial investment.I had a lot of questions, and they were all answered quickly, thoroughly and confidently; I really enjoyed the no-nonsense approach, and the owners of this company seem absolutely trustworthy and honest. They even advised which other panels (of the conventional ones that had been quoted to us by another provider) were higher quality, comparatively. But in the end, I am so glad we went with SunPower and Hooked On Solar. I firmly believe that SunPower panels are the absolute best money can buy, and I am proud that they are made here in North America vs. overseas. I can also see that the value received per dollar spent on them vs. conventional panels is well worth the slight extra expense now. We expect that they will provide the most reliably consistent amount of power over the lifetime of the system, compared to others which can drop off quite dramatically over time, and possibly have reliability problems.We worked to size the system so that it would offset approximately 95% of our current electric bill -- and the panels are actually performing even better than hoped, so we will probably be closer to 100%. We were in the process of having our roof re-done at the time, and HOS worked with us to make sure that scheduling worked right, and it all went extremely smoothly. They also worked with our preferences on panel placement, routing of the cables, and location of the inverter. After setup, they made it super easy and painless to get our system approved for usage on the E6 Net Metering Plan with PG&E.They really go the extra mile, and I would highly recommend Hooked On Solar to anyone who is looking to join the solar revolution. Why wouldn't you? I am so happy we did.

Hooked On Solar just finished installing my residential solar system, and I couldn't be happier. Things went extremely well. Justin Orban, my solarconsultant did a great job overseeing the project from start to finish. He was Professional, very knowledgeable and was always available for any questions that I had. From engineering, design and financing, to installation and final inspection, the employees were very proficient and the process seamless. A good company. I highly recommend Hooked On Solar for Superior product and Service.

I really want to install SunPower panels on my roof, and still intend to, but Hooked On Solar has been incredibly unprofessional with me, and I'll be looking for another installer. I scheduled an appointment and was home at the specified time and they never showed up and never called to let me know they weren't coming or to reschedule.Then I called back to see what happened and to try to reschedule and they promised that they would have the person that missed the meeting call me back immediately (that day) and prioritize getting out to our house. I suppose I shouldn't have been surprised when the call never came from him or the office. Time to try to find another installer.
