Price was competitive, and the work was flawless. The system has been performing as advertised, and as time has passed I appreciate the quality of the installation more and more.I have recommended Carlsbad Solar to multiple friends, and they too are thrilled with the service they have received.I couldn't be happier with the product and service I received from Carlsbad Solar. Justin Fox is a rare individual. In my experience, his knowledge is unmatched. I'm usually not one to write reviews, but because there are so many solar companies to choose from I felt I had to let people know that Carlsbad Solar is definitely the BEST. I did my research and they were indeed they most competitively priced, used the best products, and the best company to work with. We have literally been saving hundreds of dollars a month. Justin and his team are perfectionists, quick and extremely neat too!

I cant say enough good things! Carlsbad Solar won my company's commercial solar installation project for which two other companies submitted proposals. While Carlsbad Solars pricing was great, what was most impressive to me was Justins reaction to potential issues raised by the other solar companies that submitted proposals. Justin was not trying to sell me, and each question I asked about these issues, he was able to break down into an explanation that made sense. He was not defensive or offended. He just knows his stuff! He and his team showed up, worked hard, did exactly what they said they would do and did it quickly. They were a real pleasure to work with and have stayed available for monitoring the equipment and follow up questions. Installing solar was a big purchase for my small company and I am so glad we spent the money with Carlsbad Solar!

Carlsbad Solar is a family-owned, local business, based in Carlsbad. They installed a solar system on our house in September and did a great job. They explained the process, gave us an estimate and met the estimate, showed up on time, and completed the project on time. They handled the paperwork and necessary permits. They have been professional and friendly throughout the process. They are very responsive when we have a question or possible problem. They monitor our system and make adjustments to improve performance. With these major storms, we had a leak in our roof. Carlsbad Solar persisted until they found and fixed the leak, in the rain! The leak was from an existing roof vent, not the solar installation but they fixed it anyway and didnt charge us. They also fixed our front door knob. :-) We are very happy that we chose them. Their references were excellent and we like to patronize local businesses. We can unreservedly recommend Carlsbad Solar.

I got solar quotes from 5 different solar companies. Meeting Carlsbad solar was it for me! Justin looked me in my eyes and shook my hand. Told me the truth and did what he said he would do. Its amazing what our panels are producing and I have room to add things if I want to. Justin took into account what we are using and what plans we have for the future. We received our first years bill from SDG&E and they owe us $140.00
