SunPower by Quality Home Services

We listened to 3 different SunPower Companies' presentations. We decided to go with Quality Home Services (QHS) based on the pledge of superior customer service made by our QHS salesman. Unfortunately, that pledge ended up being a bunch of empty promises, as he failed to return over 90% of our phone calls and emails. It took nearly 2 months for our Solar to get activated by PG&E. A month or so went by after our panels were installed and we hadnt heard anything from QHS or PG&E on what needed to happen or what we needed to do to get the Solar turned on. We called our QHS Salesman several times and he finally returned our call. He said he would look into it and get back to us and then never did. After too many attempts to contact the salesman (who said we could call him for anything, anytime and never got back to us) we contacted the company directly and several weeks later our paperwork finally got moving and our Solar finally got turned on. Last week, I emailed our QHS salesman one last time regarding a promise he made before we signed our contract, that they would honor the same promotional offer made to us by a Sun Solar rep. No shocker, I still havent heard from him.UPDATE One day after this review was posted we were contacted by the Sales Manager and he sincerely apologized for our experience with our salesman and QHS in general. He said they would honor the promotion we were promised and a check was sent out immediately. He said he would handle our account going forward and we have much more confidence that the service expectations we were promised in the beginning will be lived up to now.

I can not find the the right words to express my gratitude for the excellent job Giovane Sanchez did for me. He was extremely helpful, polite and punctual. He did not pressure me to sign anything. Mr. Sanchez presented me with different options to fit the needs of of my budget and educated me about my choices. I vastly recommend this company and specially Mr. Sanchezs services.

Ronny Morales came to our house to help us get set up with our new solar energy system. Ronny was very pleasant. Like Brooke Hamilton (our Solar Energy Consultant), Rony was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our questions. My wife and I have learned a lot about our solar energy system. Ronny also reviewed our PG&E bill and explained it to us.

Our project started on sept 2019 estimated completion date was supposed to be nov 2019. QHS installed our panel on dec 20 2019, city inspection was approve dec 31 2020. as of jan 17 2020 sad to say our panel is not inservice. I called the office for follow up, customer service tasha was rude, told me it would take additional 30 days for pg&e to be approve. In summary our project was not done in timely manner. QHS failed to follow up with the paper work needed for city and hoa that caused delay. QHS also took a long time in submitting required paper work for pg&e to start our service. This whole project caused us headache and probably loss 4% in tax credit thanks to QHS. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Update jan 20, 2020 Mr Owens and Ms Cheryl from QHS reached out to us and discussed our issue with the project. We appreciate their gesture and willingness to resolve the issue. We are glad that QHS gives importance to its customer and builds good relationship even after conflict arises. Thank you QHS. -----will update after project completion.Update May 26, 2020 I think i waited long enough... I gave this dealer plenty of chance to get every thing right. Sad to say it's been a long and miserable journey for our solar project. Just to re cap. Our project started on sept 2019 with promised completion date of nov 2019 our panel was installed dec 2019!!. By the end of december the city approve our project and PTO was approve march 2020 !! Yup that long...... We did get the full tax credit ' thank god'. The promise that Mr owens and cheryl was not fulfilled, he never e-mailed me back regarding paying my pg&e bill. I thought everything is finally done ...But wait its not over... As of May 26 i finally made an appointment after calling bunch of times starting mid March, because one of our panel is not generating power. Yikes! I know its covid and i understand that, but no one in your company followed up with me no call back no email nothing.... I also found out today that my system is not compatible for consumption monitoring which is very counter intuitive. I was made to believe that i will get this cool monitoring system. Big mistake.. I just want to say thank you to the guys who installed our panels and to lilly she was very nice to us. I don't recommend this company sunpower is the best but please find a different dealer for your own good.

They were awesome from the start install to the presentation brook the sales guy was awesome the install You guys were professional and courteous. Ronny m was great to we had the best experience with quality home services I would recommend this service to anyone looking into solar or water softener they were great couldnt ask for anything better
