This company rocks. When a crew comes out to your house, acts professional, explains everything, leaves your home unmolested.... awesome. The crew was a team in every aspect, all working together, communicating and helping each other. Its a beautiful thing. Not only the installers, our contact for the estimate was Cindi, was the first clue that this is a very precise operation. From the beginning, everything was explained and understood. Ill recommend these guys to all of my friends and family... heck they me feel like a part of the family. Best system, best warranty.....full package.

Had a wonderful experience with SunPower for 7 years, then when it came time to sell my house and transfer the lease it became a disaster. My escrow closed, the lease has not transferred, and they are holding me responsible financially. Think long and hard before you go with SunPower lease options. I plan to also write a review to the BBB.

Nick has been so on the ball, and has taken care of us so well, it's almost the best part of the deal - even better than the Sunpower quality we are about to get. Can't wait to flip PGE off. Double.

My husband & I contacted Hooked on Solar in December 2016 to discuss putting solar on a new home we purchased. We had done significant research on different companies that served our area. We knew we wanted SunPower solar panels, so with that in mind we reached out to Hooked on Solar via email. We were contacted within a few hours of making a request for a consultation and put in touch with Nicole Barenchi. Despite the fact that this was around the holidays, we were setup with a phone conversation so that Nicole could understand what our goals were, time frame, and how we used electricity at home. All this information was taken into consideration and we set-up an in-person presentation at the new home with 2 different solar system options, giving us a comparison as well as choice of what each system would provide for us. The house was in the middle of a remodel when Nicole arrived and I was talking to my contractor trying to make a difficult decision about flooring. I was touched by the fact that Nicole took time to ask me about what was going on with the floor. She has an interior design background, which was an added boon to me right then. Nicole gave a clear solar presentation going over both proposals, the pros and cons of each. She had sample solar cells for me to look at as well. The presentation folder was well put together, had a lot of information laid out in an easy to read, comprehensible format. There were multiple financing options offered. I felt no pressure to sign up or make a decision on the spot. My husband and I took our time going over the proposals and once we made a decision, Nicole guided us through the process. Each member of the Hooked on Solar team who contacted us were professional in communication, courteous on the phone and/or in person, as well as did what they said they would do in the time frame they said they would do it in. We asked Hooked on Solar if they could hold off the install for a little while until the remodel on the house was complete and asked them to contact us to check in on a certain date. We received a call and email on the date we had given them. Hooked on Solar handled working with the county as well as our housing association to get the required permits. They also dealt with PG&E for the turn on and permission to operate. On the day of install, the crew showed up exactly when they said they would. They worked hard and efficiently, completing the work ahead of schedule. The installation team were patient while we were out during the installation looking at the panels and asking questions. When they came in and out of the house, they wore shoe covers which showed a level of detail and respect for our home I appreciated. The installation crew worked hard to keep as much of the conduits running out of sight as possible. Once the instal was complete we were shown what they did and told what the next steps would be. I asked if they could go onto the roof for me and take pictures, which they did and texted them to me. That was an extra special touch. On the day of the inspection, the person who came to meet with the county inspector took time to paint any exposed conduit to match the color behind it, so it blends in. He showed us how to install the SunPower app and how to use it. Hooked on Solar gave us the permits and sent an email when we were turned on by PG&E. If at any point in the process we had a question, we reached out to Nicole and she made things happen by connecting us to the right person or taking care of something for us herself. I absolutely rave about Nicole and Hooked on Solar to all my friends and family. If you are thinking about solar, reach out to them. You will get the best quality and service as well as a competitive price.

Nicole has been a real steady driver of our 'going solar' process. We started with 3 and chose Hooked on Solar for the final deal. She was fun to talk to and knew her stuff. Her SunPower team did a great job on our 'not Solar friendly' roof and it came out great. Start to finish, we neither were confused nor uninformed. Nicole's team helped with all permits, our HOA and PG&E transitions. Loved working with Nicole and her team. HIGHLY recommended.
