Sungenia

Our experience with Sungenia has been absolutely phenomenal. I actually feel sorry for anyone using any other company. Excellent service from the informational stage, through installation, and follow up afterwards. Owner Mike Snell has the ability to explain all the details in a way that is easy to understand. He also has the education and knowledge to answer any and all tough technical questions (just what my engineer-husband needed!). He can help you decide just how much energy you need to produce and how to maximize your potential installation sites. Everything was clearly explained and there were no hidden surprises. Installation was completed quickly and with minimal intrusion. The contractor and installers were quiet, polite, informative, and clean. They did not leave any mess behind. Materials were painted to match our home, so we don't have to look at a bunch of ugly pipes or hardware.Afterward, contractor Don Walter made sure that we were set up for the correct billing status with SDG&E. That did not happen overnight (thanks, SDG&E), but Don continued to work with us until he was sure we were through that process.We are so happy with our solar product! It may be in the high 90's outside, but we are cool and comfy and still have money in our pockets since our electrical bills have pretty much been eliminated.Please, please, please do not sign up with any other company until you at least check out Sungenia. You will be doing yourself a favor!

Review from work done in 2018:Sungenia has been a great company to work with from the very beginning to the end! It was recommended by my co-worker who has done extensive search on different options in San Diego. I've also done research and have obtained several quotes, and Sungenia's price and service/warranty were one of the most competitive, if not the best, I have received.What really made me decide to go with Sungenia is Michael's (one of the owners) breadth of knowledge and great communication. He was always there to respond to a number of questions I had concerning the technology, billing, maintenance and calculations on long term savings via email, text, and over the phone.Eric and co-worker did the installation in one day and showed up exactly as scheduled. Don was also there to double-check the installation and has met with the city inspector to finalize approval and connecting to the grid. They also set up a hardwired Ethernet connection into my modem so I can monitor EACH solar panels performance over time, which is not something many companies will do. Everything went smooth and fast. They even didn't charge me at the end for fixing a few small issues with previous wire connections in my electric box!Updated review from work done in 2019:Meanwhile I bought an EV and needed to add several more panels to supplement additional energy. The work was done smoothly and everything reconnected fast and without any issues. Michael made it easy to make this addition and modification to the circuit and maximize energy production for our roof/ electrical box.Strongly recommend Sungenia!!

We were in need of Solar and Mike and his team were so wonderful. From the start he Explained everything we needed to know about solar. We purchased horse property in Ramona. We did not want to have the solar on top of the house and we also did not want a solar panel field in our yard. Mike and his team were very innovative and installed the solar on our mare motel. There professionalism continues 3 years later as they are monitoring our system better than we do (they tell me when I have had a wifi issue and my system is not talking anymore). We have recommended Sungenia to more than a few or our friends! We have not had one complaint and all are to happy with the Sungenia. They are truly a step above the rest.

I've had my solar panels with Sungenia since July 12, 2016, and I have been totally satisfied. My next door neighbor installed solar panels with Sungenia and upon his recommendation, Conrad Snell from Sungenia came to my home to explain everything to me. I appreciated the time and attention he gave me because I was widowed and needed someone who wouldn't mind tons of questions before I made this investment. I appreciate that Sungenia is able to monitor my solar system from their facility too! Many people have come to my front door asking about my solar system with Sungenia, and I have only the best to say! I would highly recommend Sungenia!
