Vivint Solar

BE WARNED! Horrible installation on new electrical panel for solar expansion and now horrible customer service! Wiring coming into panel is not protected and even pinched against metal panel. I find it extremely hard to believe that a qualified electrician actually did this install because this can cause a very dangerous situation. I have made numerous attempts to get this resolved with Vivint and get nothing but silence on their part. Starting to believe this will never get fixed as Vivint just doesnt seem to care at all about their customers. Ive been a long time customer on the security side and now I am regretting ever dealing with Vivint. OutcomeTBD??? *UPDATE* Downgraded to 1 STAR...I was finally able to get a response from Vivint only after I posted my review. Needless to say, emails stopped and so did any contact from Vivint. So, I had to take the initiative once again and reach out. This time I was told a 'Supervisor' would be in touch. Laughable. Today, a week later, I decided to call as Vivint must have lost my contact info... Still unable to talk to a supervisor, but rather, a go between who relayed messages. Talk about Professional Customer Service at it's finest. So, it was determined by the fine folks at Vivint that in order for them to review/approve the repair order, they need something from a technician stating the cause of the problem was at the result of Vivint. Ummm, excuse me but Vivint cut into the side of my home to install a brand new panel when they added solar. So, yeah, the damage was definitely caused by Vivint. Apparently they can't figure this out by looking at their own installation paperwork and need an electrician to tell them as much. So the journey continues...

Absolutely worst company I have ever done business with!! Stay away from them!!! Worst customer service Ive ever experienced. And they are scammers. A couple years after having their panels they called us and said our system wasnt working properly so we needed to add more panels. They forged my husbands signature to say that we requested these additional panels and opened up a whole new account in our name. And have been charging us double. Ive been calling them for months and no one will help us. Its complete B.S. DO NOT USE THEM EVER!!!!

I had my first appointment with Cody, and he did not give mea call like we had scheduled. I waited a few days thinking he might call & did not receive anything. After contacting this company again today, they said Cody would give me a call in 10-15 minutes. I recieved a text from him saying he will call soon, but did not receive a call again today. I wanted to give this company a chance, as I am very interested in going solar. However, with this customer service I rather choose to go elsewhere.

Arrived on time. Started to work right away and five hours later my Vivint Solar was installed. Looking forward to having it inspected then PG&E doing their part to get it up and running.
