Unfortunately the experience we have currently with Vivint Solar is a very negative one. The company had currently a 4.2 rating but my 1 star is justifiable from the damage the company has done to our house and their negligence and irresponsible actions to fix the damage their installation did on our house. Last year they installed solar panels on our house. Unbeknownst to us they cracked one of the roofs supporting beams and plywood. 3 months later the rain came. While we where eating our dinner we noticed a steady stream of water running down our kitchen wall. As soon as I got to the attic and worked my way to the leak there was a stream of water coming trough the roof and landing all over the insulation and plywood. I called them they came to Fix the roof, this fix consisted of some people coming to the house slapping caulk all over the affected area and leaving the empty canisters in our attic. Again the rain came and the stream again came trough but directed the water further into our roof. Our houses insurance got involved cut our kitchen ceiling drained the attic dried our kitchen and took out all the insulation. This is July 7 2020, till this day they have not come to fix a thing there is still a hole in our kitchen and there has been zero attempts to try and fix the damage they caused. They said the inspector they sent said there was no problem and the case is closed.... I mean really? If you are considering this company for your Solar Energy needs use my experience to help you with your decision, a companys success also rides on that companies reputation, dignity and customer service. I have the pictures and Videos in real time to prove the damage they did and never fixed correctly or attempted to fix. While I sit here looking at the hole in our kitchen I cant help but feel humiliated, defeated, confused and lost. A successful company should not leave you feeling this way. I hope this helps and if you decide to try them anyway good luck and may you fare better than us.

Vivint, I truly regret taking on the contract the previous owners made with you. You have some of the worst people working for you or representing you. They lack in customer service and communication. Theres no accountability and ownership. Every representative we have spoken to is on a different page. I have never encountered a company that is so disorganized. I have also never worked so hard for a company I am paying to help me with should something they should. This is beyond disappointment.My husband and I have been trying to get the panels on our roof remove or taken down because we are in a major need for a new roof. We have been trying since May 2020. We also paid the $500 fee at the end of May 2020 to be put on the waiting list to get our panels remove. No communication since then. I called trying to acquire the status of situation because I need to give the roofing company a date. I was transferred to multiple departments with no answer. After being on the phone for over an hour, I was hung up on. My husband tried communicating through your online chat. It was unsuccessful. I tried calling again. After 30 minutes, the person I spoke with said she could not help me because Im not on the contract. Really?! Because the last time I checked the contract, my husband and I are on it. The last representative also kept mentioning about the previous owners. Im not really sure what the previous owner has to do with my current situation. Hes no longer the owner of my house. I mentioned that to her. After multiple attempts, my husband finally got a hold of someone on the online chat. She ended up telling him that we have no progress on our file for getting the panels remove because we have not paid the fee. WOW!! Im looking at my bank statement right now and the fee has been deducted since June 1, 2020. What a disappointment. What will I have to do to not use your service any more? Im so disappointed at your lack of response, communication, and customer service.

I was excited to become a part of Vivint solar, that is until I met their foreman. He is a man of no morals. I had a 13 month old baby and a fiancee with whom we shared a few issues. Adrian H. befriended me and proceeded to pretend he was my friend while secretly engaging in private conversations with my ex fiancee, Alexandra Shick. He was giving me relationship advice while telling Alexandra how horrible I was behind my back. Is this a guy you want in your home? He convinced her to leave while kidnapping our 13 month old baby, and he's been going to great lengths to try and keep my son from me. I have proof of all allegations, email me if need be. He has no honor, is gross, nasty, disrespectful and definitely someone I would not want to work beside.
