This company sent two representatives to my home on 4/28 at 7:50pm to solicit solar. There are multiple problems with that. The city is still shut down due to covid 19. This is a gated community with no trespassing and no soliciting signs and it is a little late in the day to be soliciting. This company has potentially put its employees at risk of multiple dangers. I do not think this is a very wise decision by an employer. The girls were very polite and were only doing what their supervisor Steven Cohen told them to do. Business card has Sumrun logo LGCY Power as an email and Sunder Energy as an email so who knows what one of the 3 it is?

I was completely mislead on what Sunrun would provide. I was told I would only get one bill & that my bill would be lower. I get two bills & my bill is higher than what I used to have w/NV energy! If their panels arent working they delay repairing & they still expect you to pay! Right after they installed the panels my roof started leaking. Initially they tried to imply that my roof was faulty & therefore my responsibility even though my roof had never leaked prior to their install & was leaking directly under their panels! It took them over a month to get someone out to fix it while it was raining in the meantime. Pigeons have now taken up residency on my roof as well. Once they rope you into the contract the customer service is horrible. They just dont care & give you the run around. It has been a nightmare since day one. The worst mistake I ever made was going with Sunrun.

Would highly recommend getting a second opinion before signing anything with Sunrun. I got involved with Sunrun from Costco, so I expected a quality and reliability. The Surun system installed on my roof is expected to cover 35% of my energy costs for the year, but after Sunrun installed a much larger system on my neighbor's house I started asking questions. They insist they installed the most efficient system they could on my roof, but I've now spoken to 2 other companies that say they could have done better. One company even showed me how they could have installed a system with 3 times the output for only 2 times the cost. Very unhappy customer.
