Researched several companies and ended up with the most responsive one which was Citadel. I wholeheartedly appreciate the way they worked on this project and made it a success. I would like to thank you Mr. Rickey Woods for his services, an outstanding customer care and the level of accountability and dedication demonstrated by him and his team on the project. What a great experience. All levels of service and installation were outstanding. John our sales rep was very knowledgeable and very patient while answering all of our questions. Its a huge investment but John's experience and easy to understand answers made our decision very comfortable. The installation was flawless. The guys were friendly and professional. The job took a day and everything looked terrific. They were neat and extremely careful to not damage anything. Sonya kept us updated from start to PG&E approving us to use our solar panels. I give Citadel 5+ stars and highly recommend them.Dave J

mediocre at best.. a great place for your last resort

The entire process was yes a learning experience but whenever there was some sort of pitfall Chris and the other staff were there to fix it. The installation team came out and had to rappel down our high pitched roof but they completed the job in a few days. Excellent craftsmanship by the the installers. I love looking at my PG&E bill every month and see how much more electricity I generate than I use. I highly recommend Citadel.

Updated Post Sept 2019: It has now been a year and I can now report the one year result of my Citadel solar system. Simply put, I could not be more delighted and thankful. My total electric cost for the past 12 months was $157. That includes NEM true-up and delivery costs and compares to my prior 12 months electric cost of $4,133. That's a $3,976 savings!! This system will pay for itself even faster than my estimate upon purchase. And even better, no issues. A reason I used Citadel was because they were a roofing expert first. After hearing all the horror stories of roof leaks from friends and others, I wanted to avoid any roofing issues. Citadel performed and two of our friends have since used them as well. I'm certainly glad I did. Thank you Nathan and everyone at Citadel.Original Post Sept 2018: Citadel installed a 9.1kWh residential system on my steep-roofed home. An excellent job, fair price and pleasant experience. Their personnel were professional, always on time, and easy to work with. Installation crew were professional, meticulous and clearly cared about doing a high quality job. System was inspected and PG&E approved far ahead of original schedule. Highly recommend. Only wish all companies could be like Citadel!
