Solar Impact

Writing this review thanks to solar power and our Tesla powerwall! Our power goes out a few times a week. Sometimes it's for just a few seconds and other times, longer. I work from home, so I'm pretty dependent on electricity to get my job done. We reached out to Solar Impact for a solar panel system paired with a Tesla powerwall. We'd done some research so we knew the value in the investment we were making, and we also knew it would be an INVESTMENT (expensive). Haydn at Solar Impact was friendly, professional and a wealth of information. He provided us a few different options and advised us on what he would do in our situation. He was always quick to respond to questions via email or phone, which we greatly appreciated. Solar Impact also helped us finance a portion of our payments, directly with them, until our tax rebate comes in. They helped make this project not feel so big to take on. The install went perfectly and we are so proud of our system! Plus, we've gotten quite a bit of use out of it since our install. No more extension cords through the house or loud generators during hurricanes. AND no scared kids, as all the lights, night lights and fans in their rooms run off the powerwall. When our power goes out due to a storm, it seamlessly switches over to solar. Thank you to Solar Impact for making this an easy decision for us!

Solar Impact has been great throughout the entire process. We researched several companies as well as had multiple quotes from three others and Solar Impact was the most thorough, professional and personable of the lot! They actually make you feel like part of the family and that your solar project is the most important one they have. There were some hiccups along the way, a couple of them their fault and a couple the fault of our ever helpful and customer-friendly power company (please note, sarcasm!), but Solar Impact owned their issues and made them ALL OK (including those caused by GRU). The delays cost us some prime Fall sunshine days and Solar Impact offered us a good refund to make up for it. This is an employee-owned, local Gainesville, FL company that we fully support and we've recommended them to friends who're also getting solar installed by them soon. Finally, Solar Impact has guaranteed a certain amount of output from our panels; if they don't produce, we get compensated! That kind of guarantee sold us and to back-up that guarantee they do an honest and complete job of recommending the right system (they don't ever try to oversell). One of the best customer service experiences we've ever had.

Solar Impact is the best out there. Period.Everyone I have encountered has been professional, intelligent, and kind. They were very easy to work with. Hats off to Bryan, Richie, and Brian. They installed my 10-kw system on time and with in budget. Very straight forward. They got the drone out too. They took the time to analyze and customize to my specific solar needs.
