After Hurricane lrma, without power for over a month,no way to cook, wash, no air conditioning, etc... I looked into other options to be prepared for Hurricane Season. Calling around, it seemed to be SOLAR!! But they wanted $20,000 for starters. I called Bob's Solar, spoke directly to Bob. He explained, basically educating me about Solar, with a new system he developed that was not only Affordable and run my home 3br 2 ba, saving me over $3000 in 1 1/2 yr alone. Bob has seen better days. After sending email after email I realised he has no idea what he is doing....

I met Bob while shopping at Radio Shack. He's an elderly gentleman, kind, with an abundance of ideas. We talked a short while to find out he builds and teaches about building solar panels. Through his vast knowledge convinced my wife Myra and I (Emmitt Hawkins0 how we could cut back on electrical bills by this new age of Solar. We enrolled into his class, and began learning hands-on just how to construct our first solar panel. Bob walks you through step-by-step processes and if you follow his instructions you will produce a Solar Panel worthy for resale or usage in your home upon completion of this class, provided you also have a few other components needed once the Sun goes down. My first panel was to be rated and 72 Watts, but when checked the Watts increased to approximately 85 to 90 Watts. Amazing! My wife and I worked together and was informed that our first Solar Panel topped every student that had taken the class previously, and looked professional. I was asked to construct and type of panel that he(Bob) had designed and it was better than the first one. This was an encouragement that is leading us to a business with rewards far beyond our imagination in our household. In a short while we will have our Mini-Split Heat & Air Conditioning (combine) unit ready to be installed for the summer & winter . Myra and I will be come distributors able to sell these classes and Units as a business. This is an experience that I admire and can keep up busy even after retirement. Thanks Bob for the experience and opportunity in finding out how easy and simple constructing and building solar systems can be.
