Customer service is terrible. I called to find out if there was an outage in my area or if they had just turned off the power at my friends house. They are more concerned about verifying an account number rather than answering basic questions about an outage. She kept asking me for my friends account number instead of providing information about whether there was an outage. When she finally told me there was an outage, she wouldnt give me an estimated time that it would be fixed. As Im about to get off the phone with her, my friend beeps in and tells me She had got a text that the power was out and that it would be back on at noon. The power company wouldnt give me power outage info that My friend already knew! Teach your customers service reps to provide information to customers instead of training them to be FBI interrogators. Instead of being like little smart *sses, CUSTOMER SERVICE reps should to be trained to provide information to anyone during a power outage, because a power outage can be an emergency situation. customer service reps dont need to get hard headed with me when I ask a basic question about an outage.

What part of no job till August do they understand. School bus driver here and no income. . We don't get unemployment. We're considered Voluntary laid off.under our contract.its horrible. Can't pay our bills.

Gulf power is a joke , lets raise everyones power bill especially during a pandemic when most people have lost their jobs .

If you want a security light call in 2 months in advance! No hurricanes no storms been 3 weeks, still no light. If your not in the rich neighborhoods your NOT high on their priority list! No calls to let us know what the hold up is?? ... No I will not message you on FB or Twitter, so don't ask...UPDATE!! Checking on getting our own. This Company is awful! I agree with many others, wish we had another electric co. This one is Shameful!!They obviously don't care about their customers! Just on FB and Twitter I guess? Smh....
