I worked here as a Test Engineer between 2015 and 2017. So Ill start with saying Panasonic introduced me to many new and cutting edge technologies in my area of interest. Working with RTOS and wi-fi and Bluetooth technologies opened up a lot of avenues for my exploration. You have to be committed to the team to achive and attain deadlines. The company did an awesome job of keeping us entertained during our busy sessions. One huge plus was being able directly test on fully loaded vehicles provided by the client.

I worked here as a permanent employee from September 1988 to February 1992, transferring from the closed Panasonic manufacturing facility in Franklin Park, Illinois, near Chicago. My job title was Production Engineering Technician. Back then the facility was new and focused on car phone 3 watt transceiver and car stereo manufacturing. My department manager and team were Japanese, here from Japan on five year job assignments. I see the facility expanded in size and now focuses on automotive technologies. Originally there were three 70,000 square foot buildings connected together by walkways. Overall, I have mostly pleasant memories working here, having transferred here with 20 coworkers from the Chicago area. The Information Technology revolution which began during the 1990's have attracted many Indian employees here to the USA over the years.
