Puna Geothermal Venture

Iceland gets all of its power from volcanic geothermal activity and that would be awesome on Hawai'i too!

35 years ago Aloha Aina, myself and Moani Keala Akaka tried to shut down the Geothermal Plant in Pohoiki as it was releasing Toxic Hydrogen Sulfide and sulfur dioxide into the atmosphere and making people sick. After a great deal of pressure they relented, put scrubbers and an abatement system up. Since then theyve been pumping out the superheated water from the aquifer. Now Im not a genius geologist but if you pump out the water the ground is going to crack and then you will see the Goddess Pele in all her majesty. Coincidentally Leilani Estates is in direct line with the southeast rift zone and the power plant. Coincidence? I think not!! These haoles also had plans to build a massive geothermal plant at Kilauea. Imagine how that wouldve gone over, but then in 1983 Kilauea started erupting. Too bad for the blood sucking, lifeless money grubbing haoles. My prayers for the innocent people of Puna Hawaii
