They make it virtually impossible to start service with a previous bill. My roommate moved out and the electricity was in her name and when I tried to get it in my name there was a bill from 2015! Instead of offering some type of payment plan they want the full amount upfront! It is the dead of winter 37 degrees outside and I cant get my power on until tomorrow with a kid on a nebulizer, and in this area there are no other options! Screw you ameren Illinois this is beyond ridiculous I cant wait for those people to knock on my door again to try a different service!
