We just moved into our house on Sept 15th and set up our account online on Sept 15th. Today Sept 18th we had the meter person come out and shut off our power saying we didn't have pur correct Social security number in the system. The meter lady didn't give a rat's behind and sped off out of driveway leaving me with no power. We called back talked to a supervisor and had terrible customer service! Now we have to pay 75 dollars for them to come back today to turn the power back on and it wasn't even our fault! Our social security number was correct and who knows what happened in their computer system! Mid American energy you are terrible and I am appalled at how you treat your customers! Shame on you.

If your on a payment plan they'll shut you off with no notice. Piss poor!!
