The Lambert's have gone deep into the Green!! Solar Powered baby!! Done by Strawberry Solar; I checked at least 3 other companies before going with them and we only recommend Strawberry Solar! Drew and Tim were great to work with; And got us up and running within 2019 so we could get the larger tax credit. Is a nice clean installation on our polebarn roof. And making killer power in a short Winter day! Got Solar????

If I could give them negative stars they'd get a -5.Complete nightmare. The system is still not properly installed, 6 months after the contract was signed. Supposed to be done in 3 months. Strawberry Solar constantly shifts the blame to the electrician, Premium Electric, who was the subcontractor. Constant 'apologies', constant delays, followed by periods of flat out ignoring everything. I'll be filing a complaint with the State Attorney General for starters. More than likely it will end up in court. Save yourself the aggravation and find a different company to put in your system. Strawberry Solar is NOT reliable.

What started out to be a solid relationship turned out to be a nightmare. Strawberry recommended and installed a Victron Energy system for us. The system never worked as proposed and designed by Strawberry. After two years Strawberry still has no answers to the difficulties of the system, and we are now faced with consistent system failures and shut offs. In addition Joe fails to answer calls, or do the necessary work to insure the system gets fixed. There is a constant shifting of blame from the current staff to former staff who are no longe with the company. The bottom line is we paid for a system that has never worked correctly, and Strawberry Solar is not standing behind their work. I would never recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a well designed, expertly installed, and professionally supported soloar system.

If your like me, you don't know a dam thing about solar. You try and educate yourself and then make the best deal you can. It's not like there are 50 solar companies to compete with each other, so I suggest you pick your panel and then call around, get at least 3 estimates, then call Strawberry. Guys did a great job with the install, friendly, answered my questions during the process and finished in a timely manner. Calling the office for help with DTE, they were right there trying to help. My impression is DTE is not to happy with home solar arrays. Anyway, service after the sale is the next most important thing after getting your system up and running. Strawberry has been spot on. I send an email or make a call, It gets returned quickly. I'm pretty sure going solar was a good thing, the initial cost is a pain, rebate is still in effect, so don't wait for more than a year, it's scheduled to drop. Snow is a problem, it will shut your system down for days unless you scrap the snow off the panels, which I do. Not that big a deal. You'll like the reduction on your electric bill, once DTE figures out it's new system. (Billing break down lacks clarity right now but they say there fixing it) So from a guy who took a crash course in solar, picked my panel (Panasonic) and crossed my fingers, well, I did pretty well. Thanks Strawberry for making it a lot easier.
