SUNation Solar Systems

This company came highly recommended to us as one the premier solar panel installers in Long Island so my husband and I put our trust that during these times of the pandemic, Sunation would do the right thing by following all the protocols mandated by NYS. Unfortunately, on the day of the install, all but 1 of the 5 installers that showed up at my home ignored the mandate to wear a mask. Additionally, 1 installer got sick with a stomach virus and instead of being sent home immediately by the supervisor, remained at my home, used my bathroom several times and while going in and out of my home, did NOT wear a mask or gloves. I ended up getting a horrible scare thinking I had contracted Covid-19 two days later which resulted in a hellish ordeal for me, my family and co-workers....not a good experience at all. If anyone wants to allow this company to work in their homes despite my review I highly suggest requesting a written Covid-19 Safety Manual and a written and signed Competent Person Form from the onsite supervisor in charge of the install BEFORE the crew shows up at your house. This way, in the event of any problems, you have additional written guarantees that the work will be done in a safely fashion.

Sunation is the leader in solar technology! Customer service,attention to detail and top notch installation I highly recommend Sunation Solar!....i wouldn't see anyone else but Scott and Mike and their staff!

Bob from SUNation was a great salesman, in continuous contact for the completion of the project. Everything was installed expertly and met or exceeded my expectations. Bills are pretty much a connection fee and my tax refund was high due to the project. I fed that right into paying for the solar loan.

I couldn't be happier with my SUNation installation so far. After getting several quotes from national and local firms, SUNation came through as the best provider on cost and equipment. I researched all of the various panels that were offered and these seemed to be the best. They were aesthetically pleasing as well. Kevin Stafford was the first representative I met met who was very thorough in his presentation, explaining what I could expect and was very knowledgeable about the process (application, town approval, inspections, liaison with PSE&G, etc.). He explained the computer monitoring application and the electrical equipment that would be installed as well. The process went quickly and my installation of a 10.36 kW system was done in one day! My electric bill for the first full month of operation dropped from $200+ to $12.53. SUNation was great with their follow-up as well, soliciting my satisfaction several times after the installation.
