Terrible customer service. Forced to go with them because thats who owns the line. The representative could not answer simple questions adequately. Theres a $90.00 fee just to start that they divide over 3 months. They say itll be refunded once your bills are payed on time for 6 months (Ill update my review when that happens). I asked which supplier they would originally set me up with and the current rate and he was unable to tell me. I also asked when my first bill would be and he was unable to answer that as well. It took close to an hour to set up a new account. While I was asking other questions on how to view different suppliers he ended up saying, Have a good day and hung up on me. Terrible service.

Condescending. Unfriendly. Unhelpful. Not concerned. It couldnt be more obvious, from any and every dealing with every tier of this company, that not only do they understand inherently that they exist as an utility monopoly, but also that they employ this understanding as the culture of the employees. The actuality that their customer service department is labeled as such merits a guffaw.Theres no way any person genuinely as abstractly vapid and vacant as these real humans who fill the customer service representative roles could elicit survival in the real world, with families and automobiles and sharp objects. They have to be schooled at being so bad at being good people. They will leave you, but more importantly, children (of people who live in poor demographic areas) without heat. And not just for egregious lack of payment on the customers end, but for misunderstandings that are dealt with, by the exchange of hundreds of dollars, within minutes, via the usage of payment technology. With the tech who turns off services still sitting parked out front. Who refuses to turn services back on. After the bill is paid. After you show him the confirmation number. After the customer service representative tells you to walk to his truck and show him the number and he will turn it back on. After he stares at you with a yet-to-be-established masculine challenge. Because hes short and bald and has the power at that moment. And the reason thats relevant goes back to the culture. They act in a manner that is obviously emboldened from a knowing lack of consequence. These are common stories about this company.Everybody just hates the poopoo out of them. And just a nibble more on these techs...these bags of vinegar that get sent to your house...Wow. Wow. Upside down Mom. Thats Wow. These guys and gals have won. Send them congratulations. Because if they DONT just loathe the poor/ low-income customer base... they sure put on a stellar and convincing, majestic, fundamentally gargantuas and universally monolithic show of feeling just that way.Not good. Is what Im saying. They are not good. And they know it.
