Solar Chief

These guys signed a contract to install and took $11,310 from their partner credit union without telling me. The installer came to pick up the equipment and then it wasn't at the warehouse. They stopped returning all calls and emails from me, the installer, or the bank, I only get bounce backs saying the person on the contract for Solar Chief is not in the country. They are a complete fraud do not even think about signing a contract. We are contacting police for theft and fraud.

The contract requires you to sign it with installation , not activation. We are paying the loan since May 2019... but 50% panels were working. they got satisfaction signature from us with verbal and written threats to put a lean on home and fast pace a sale of home. 8month later 25% job pannels not working not cable connected to inverter. Confirm with better business beaurea or Yelp. They paid for someone to clean complains from reviews.

Hard working and always tries their best to have everything fine in a timely manner! Great customer service!

This whole experience with the company has just been a nightmare, every step along the way dealing with Solar Chief has brought us only aggravation. My husband and I regret signing that contract. It has been almost 3 months since we had the solar panels installed (which took them about two weeks to do so and a month after the date they were supposed to be on our roof) we still dont have a working system. First it was the system not having a working control panel, it took about a month to have that fixed. A long and painful communication , if I can call it like that.After a day of having a working solar panel system it was shut down by an unknown person. Solar chief said it was Santer Cooper... since that answer We have been trying to contact the technician, the representative and even the owner himself. No luck. No one has helped us for 10 days. I am desperate. We spent $50000 on this and we still have to pay electricity bill. One advice, stay away and run away from Solar chief company. I wish I can turn the time back!!!
