@Bob Arnett provided me an very informative presentation on Solar options for my house. He met with me at my house and reviewed the location of trees and direction that the sun would take to optimize the layout of solar panels for my home. He returned with the a very detailed design and offered several options. Bob, explained tax rebates and financing. I am still looking at all my options (thus the 4 stars) before making a final decision, but I found his non pressured presentation a very positive and informative first step in lowering my power bills.

Summit installed our system in early May. They are a great company with very professional employees. The install went great and the installers were very knowledgeable and answered any questions I had. The system seems to be performing good. So far it looks as if I'm going to produce more than I'm using. Duke Energy, on the other hand, needs to improve their customer service. My system was installed on May 7 and it was June 26 before I could turn it on.

Summit told us they were making sure that the power company wasn't charging us too much because they were in charge of that, but they actually wanted to sell solar to us.
