If you're lucky enough to have the choice, do not go with Santee Cooper. $104 for one month in a tiny one bed one bath apartment. When I confronted an agent as to why my bill was so high I was just told 'That's the amount you're using' and when I told her we've been keeping the lights and AC off she ignored me and told me we were using around $3 a day. Absolutely infuriating conversation because she had no intention of actually helping in any way.

1. They are only open M-F. There are issues on the weekends too. 2. They are the only one that service the area3. They hold your deposit for 13 months.4. They have my deposite at $450 dollars. The equivalent of two months electricity cost. 5. They are slow to react to any sort of emergency.
