What a horrible company who lies to their paying customers

Going on 3 days with no electricity or heat, there are no trucks on my road today to fix our problem. This is what happens when a monopoly is formed. There is no incentive to better your product because we cant go anywhere else. I would love a better option than Duke power. If the electricity goes out in the summer for whatever reason, its literally out for hours. What is the solution to these long horrible outages with Duke power??

Power service was suppose to begin under my account sat sept 1 lights were , they turned off light on 4th? Called and couldnt get any help we have 5 month old baby and 7 year old 90 degree weather..still no resolution because its after 5pm..why did they cut it off and not turn it in right away? Deposit was made..
