My first review had been great, but Joe Esparza lied about getting 11k back from taxes that would go towards the panels. It was all a lie. Now may payment is going up. Dont buy from these people. It's all a bunch of lies. I never got even half of what Joe Esparza had said, bunch of rats!!!!

I purchased a 14 KW system from a door to door salesmen (energy consultant) I was skeptical at first as Im not fond of door to door practice but they dressed professional and had their badge displayed in full view. Their sales company is (GreenGo Energy) Went through the presentation and was actually quite shocked at whats been going on with the utility company. The solar payments are very reasonable compared to what Im paying with EPE. I told them I might sell my house in a few years and saw the clause that you can transfer over the bill. The docs were a bit long (felt like signing up for the military lol), got a phone call from Benjamin and he followed up once a week. I saw someone saying he was terrible at customer service but cant help but laugh because he was the nicest representative. I see a lot of negative reviews but at the end of the day most of these issues are either because the city is low on inspectors (NM) delaying your solar systems from being turned on or youre not informed on how tax credits work which is not there responsibility (they still went over it anyways). At first I thought it was the installers but realized its the cities fault or EPE when it came to the PTO stage. After six months the solar systems begins to stabilize with your consumption so its normal to have two bills for a small period. Once you start over producing in spring and fall the solar system adjusts to your energy consumption (assuming you havent drastically changed your consumption) 10/12 months of the year I have no bill or just a couple bucks. I was gonna give four stars cause the process was a little slow but found out its cause Las Cruces isnt PTOing quick enough which again isnt Eruss fault. As for the cancellation Three business days is plenty of time to research and look around unlike car dealerships... If you drive off the lot youre screwed. Overall good experience. Call GreenGo Energy theyre more knowledgeable. Ask for Richard or Paz.

Don't believe that sales pitch that you will receive 6000 $in sales tax to be applied to the balance that is a lie. They make promises they can't keep, liars

We were sold and had signed papers to have solar panels by Erus Energy installed. But there were a few things that just bothered me about the transaction so after the salesmen left, I decided to google around and see what I could find. I saw that the average pricing of installed solar panels in my city averaged between $12k and $18k. Erus Energy wanted to charge us $22k. But then apparently they said no, they had made a mistake and the cost was actually going to be $32k. Big mistake. But okay. We'll roll with it. And the 30% rebate? Well the salesmen omitted to tell us that the only way to receive the 30% rebate was if we had to PAY on our federal taxes. But if you don't owe federal taxes then guess what? NO REBATE! Our salesmen did not give us this IMPORTANT information. The whole ordeal of filling out paperwork and getting approved for financing took FOUR hours, and in that time I managed to google some customer reviews of their financing company, Sunlight Financial and saw that there was a lot of customer service issues. Too many negative issues and feedback. I found out other things too but I'll refrain from those because I think what I listed above is more than enough for us to say Nope. I read the paperwork and found out that we had 3 days to cancel the transaction or else we would be charged a $1,700+ fee. Also, cancellations cannot be phoned in. All cancellations must be delivered to Erus Energy (in Phoenix). When a person is signing a $32k contract that spans over 20 years, I would think that 3 days is a pretty inconsiderate and short time for somebody who might have second thoughts about making such a huge financial commitment. So I woke up nice and early and went to the post office and spent $26 out of MY pocket to send the cancellation forms overnight. I made sure to request a signature when the cancellation papers were delivered. We will never, ever again buy anything from anybody who comes to our door. Only a few years ago we had a fly by night company cheat us out of several thousand dollars when they came to our door after a huge hail storm with promises of no 'out of pocket costs' for a new roof and now this solar panel company was trying to pull the same stuff on us. It's just ugly. And unethical. And really makes hard working people like my husband and I feel vulnerable and stupid. And we're not either of those things. But no way in hell will we ever deal with another door to door salesman again. Also just so future buyers know, apparently this is a HUGE thing that is happening now. Solar panel companies making promises that they cannot fulfill, omitting vital information from the customers and excessive over-charging. Also found out that Erus Energy has 43 COMPLAINTS with the Better Business Bureau and on bestcompany dot come they rate a 2.6 out of 5 stars. That is just NOT good business. But hey, don't take my word for it. Research. It's all out there. Best of luck to anyone who works with this company.
