I like this company for the most part. However, I just moved recently and they got Everything mixed up. I asked for my power to be transferred out of my name on a friday. Then called back saying I needed it to be transferred the following monday instead. They said fine.friday comes around and my power is disconnected. No problem. Called them, they said it would be fixed to turn off the following monday instead. They misheard me over the phone and accidentally scheduled my neighbor's power to be turned off instead of mine. Fine, i'll call back. This time I spoke to 'Linda' and she was very rude to both me and the manager at the apartment I was moving out of. Very unprofessional since I was just calling to get THEIR mistake cleared up. Again I asked for it to be turned off on a monday. She said it was all taken care of. Come the following Wednesday I checked and was still being charged at the apartment. I call again and am told that there wasn't a service order for the power to be transferred. 'Melissa' helped me this time and was very kind and helpful. Sorry for the long rant. I was very happy with my service through them. But this last situation kinda turned me off.*Update* I have a recieved a call from them and they were very nice and apologized for the mix up. I very much appreciate it!

Called to pay bill. Linda was rude and hung up on me. I understand working from home, I do not get that luxury I have patients that I have to care for it since I'm in the medical field the nicest thing she could have done was transferred me to be 800 number luckily Nathaniel did that for me.

Ive been a KPUB customer for 4+ years now. Their rates are low with excellent customer service and responsiveness. Thanks to all the KPUB crews and staff that got everyone thru these outages. Most people dont know the sacrifices the workers and their families go through. Thank you Kerrville Public Utility Board (KPUB)!!!!

NOT a good electric company to have to go through!! Last month my bill was $140.99 and this month it is $508.00!! Absolutely NO change in our home or to our daily activities. Not a single person up there can explain the reason for such a huge increase in my bill! I have called and left several messages with the manager and NO call back as of now. This is the unfortunate problem with having to deal with big companies.... You either pay it or do without... Bottom line!! This company needs to be autited! Someone is pocketing money!!!
