Been with this co op for over 20 years. I forgot to make my payment on time this month dec. 2021 received a nasty letter in the mail. Not a friendly reminder. I got on line and paid it. As is typical for Navasota it is Christmas day and the power is out on my road.

If I could rate zero stars I would.This company charges astronomical amounts for power. Im estatic if the bill for my 1,700sf home is under $200 because its such a rare occurance. This office staff at either location is not pleasant to deal with, they act as if you are inconviencing them. You could forget them trying to help you if you need extra time to pay, they will disconnect your power after 2 weeks, and force you to pay a $50 reconnect fee (even though this is done remotely) But hey, if youre using Navasota Valley, chances are they are your only choice so thats why they act the way they do. Pay us in full or have no powerI was receiving unusually large bills even for the summer months, when I called in to question why I had never seen a meter reader in my yard (because I was home all day on their specified date) they told me that they had digital meters that automatically pulled meter reading. I called their bluff as I knew I had an analog one with dials and nothing digital about it. They finally switched to a digital meter 7 months later. If I ever have a pleasant experience I will change my review, but Im confident it will never happen.

I would give 0 stars if I could the worst electric company ever!!! The best part of moving is not dealing with this company anymore.
