We booked a trip to SPI long before Covid was a thing. In order to keep our family and others safe we decided it would not be the best decision to vacation at this time. We have been calling their offices to request a refund or to possibly move the dates and they will not even answer the phone. We have had to email and call numerous times to get a hold of them. They finally a week later emailed that they will not issue a refund or move the dates because the beach is still open. I cannot believe even during a pandemic how inconsiderate this company is. Please do yourself a favor and do not book with SPI rentals. They put money first over the safety of others.

Our experience with SPI rental was awful. Due to the pandemic 30 plus students make the safest decision not to go to south Padre Island. SPI Rentals denied our request for a refund (hotels and Airbnb all refunded their guest) and made off with $10,000. Each and everyone of these students lost individually about $300-$400. We then accepted defeat and tried to reschedule with them because we came to that agreement. When we tried to pick out new days they tried to take more money from us. We pick the same amount dates but they wanted to charge us $2,400 more dollars. They are nothing but greedy people who dont care about the health and safety of their guest. They just want your money.

They lack the professionalism that each business should have. Due to COVID-19, my family was unable to move their booking for the 4th of July, that we had set up in February of 2020! They will not answer the phones and we have left many messages regarding our concern! Overall just a poor business and I will definitely not be staying there again. We are now having to hire a lawyer to receive our $20,000 that we have used to rent out 2 houses!! This is so sad and its safe to say that we might not be the only people this happens to.

Horrible Company. My family & I booked a trip before COVID-19 not knowing everything that would happen. A few of my dads coworkers as well as some family friends have tested positive. The rest of my family all got tested we havent got results back so we decided its best if we stay home. The company REFUSES to move the date of our trip. We arent asking for money back we just want to stay safe and not spread it any further. Very sad that they cant even just move the dates especially during a time like this. Weve tried many times to contact them through the phone and now they dont even pickup. I would not recommend them to ANYONE. Book with a different company.
