Elan Solar

Their sales reps talk a good game, however, the actual install team is severely lacking. It has been 12 months since they were paid to install our system and 2 months since they installed the panels but still have not installed the actual battery bank which was 1/4 of the cost of our system. I have had to call them multiple times every week to get any information and they keep scheduling appointments to asses what needs to happen to resolve the situation that their techs just keep no showing. Their battery installs are apparently all managed by a single person. This person is next to impossible to reach since they will take random multi hour lunch breaks and will just leave early or show up late. I have left dozens of requests for call back over the last 10 months and he has not called me back a single time. I have even tried emailing him and have never received a single response.

All representatives that I was in contact with were awesome!! They were very straightforward and knowledgeable about what they were selling and we're pleasant in countenance. I was interested so they took care of my home and family quickly and efficiently!! I'm so glad I went with Elan Solar!

**Edited Review June 2020, adding back stars for good customer service, related to the issue below. My inverter had failed and needed to be replaced and after a lot of confusion about who was, I guess responsible for handling the warranty Kevin at Elan helped me get my inverter replaced by a different solar installation company. My system is now back up and running properly, thank you Kevin.**Edit for March 2020 from 5 star to 2 for lack of customer support. I've been calling these guys for about a month trying to get someone to tell me why panels are not producing. No one answers the phone and no one calls back despite multiple messages.We worked with Kevin in the fall of 2017, he was just canvasing our neighborhood and we had been interested in solar but didn't think we could fit it in with everything else we had going on. He was great to work with and helped us design a system that worked great for us, works 100% as advertised and haven't had to pay RMP more than the minimum for several months now.

Elan Solar was so good to work with. Ive heard so many horror stories about other companies and being passed around so much, but Ive had one point of contact through the whole solar process and it has been smooth sailing. We had quotes from 3 other companies and Elan beat all 3, and were also the most knowledgeable. We have loved working with them and wouldnt recommend anyone else!
