Weve used Joel, the Solar Doctor, for many years now. We had a 30 year old water heating system, consisting of a solar tank and a natural gas tank. We needed to replace both.The job was finished on 11/8/2019. Excellent job done. He was honest and sincere. He answered all my questions, to my satisfaction. His price was good.He was professional, organized, very knowledgeable and experienced, courteous, patient, friendly and open. He cleaned up the worksite well, both during and after the job was finished. He was very responsive to phone calls and texts, before, during and after the job.The job took a little longer than expected, since the Solar Doctor was also very busy with other clients. But it was well worth the wait! I am very satisfied with him. I feel I am in good hands with him. I feel that I can trust him to do a great job, at a fair price. I would hire him again!

Unwanted robo calls from American solar dispite being on national do not call list.

American Solar of Sterling Va has serviced both of our solar sysstems for over 20 years. They installed our hot water system in 1991 and our solar pool heating system in 1996, and have kept both in tip top shape ever since. One snowy icy Sunday in January they even came to our home when we had no hot water (which turned out to be the electric water heater, not the solar, but the solar panels were covered with snow so they couldn't make any hot water for us.) They took care of us right away. I don't any other company that would come out on a cold snowy Sunday to help a customer, but they did. Richard the owner has always been very courteous and now his son Joel runs the company with the same good ethics as his father. I can not recommend them highly enough! Professional, Ethical, and very reasonably priced, they are a gem of a company.
