We contracted with PCI Renewables to install a PV system on our home in Pullman. The PVs and inverter were older 'legacy' units that I bought from my brother who ended up never using them. The fact that PCI didn't have experience with the older tech didn't even phase them. Jay Larson did all the research necessary to figure out the panels, inverter, shutoff switch (mandated by law), and internet connectivity so we can monitor power generation online. Jay also took care of all the Avista coordination and the tax rebate programs. I also really appreciated that Jay worked to find an economical package, talking through all the options that we had, but being honest about the relative merits of each, so we could make informed decisions and not end up with expensive optimizers that we didn't need for our situation. This was not the case with another company that we talked to. They tried to sell us optimizers and even tried to talk me into buying a different inverter. We already had the inverter purchased; quit trying to upsell me!There were some delays in the installation due to bad weather and overscheduling of the PCI crews, but they were very communicative and honest about timelines. The good communication overcame the annoyance with the delays.TLDR: I highly recommend PCI for PV!
