Independent Solar

I was very impressed with Independent Solar form the start of my project! They took the time to answer all my questions and the installation looks and works great!

First off theres a lot off solar companies out there but they're fly by nights companies that have a different kind of business besides solar this is the only company that I found that has been doing only solar for work for the last 12 years not really sure why people give this company a bad review my guess is they either expect there system to be installed over night and let's get real Rome wasnt built over night and when u take pride in ur work it takes time and it also takes time to order supplies or there just jew bags and want something for free Jay the owner of this company is super knowledgeable and know everything about solar I have had a few system done by this company and I have nothing bad to say Jay literally took care of all my tax incentives and rebate paperwork and best part is he dint just sell me a system he actually stands behind everything he said he was gonna do and stands behind his system with a 25 year warranty that's great in my eyes when there a company that actually does what they say there gonna do and also he will check up with me from time to time just to make sure everything is still working great I dont know one company of any sort that actually does that unless there trying to sell u some else

I am writing this out of my incredible frustration with this company. They came well recommended to me this past summer. I needed someone to look at my present roof solar system. The owner came out and said I needed a new inverter. I paid them and it was ordered. After installing it (I paid in cash for the installation-big mistake)the owner came back the next day to check on it. He said it was not working and would have to send it back, so he took it with him that day. That was about two months ago and I have not heard one word from the office or the owner-despite many phone calls and emails. I am now out almost $2,000.00 until this is settled.My next step is to contact the city of Appleton and the BBB to complain . Perhaps this negative review will spur some communication or action by this ' company'.
