Unprofessional, had people throwing up off the roof, left a mess everywhere horrible clean up, my daughter stepped on it cap nail 2 days after they cleaned up, left the old drip edge and old underlayment, didn't use the right size nails to nail down the Cobra vent, put Cobra vent on a manufactured home which doesn't even work on a manufactured home because there's not a big enough opening in the ridge. Would not call back or answer for 2 days had to literally pull the credit card payment through the credit card company just to get someone to call back on the 4th day when they realize they didn't get their money. They go around ripping off old people and taking advantage of senior citizens who are too old to get on a ladder and actually look at the roof. Supplied half the materials and they still charged my grandmother the full price for her roof

When you find a good contractor, you stick with them. Believe it or not, this is the third roofing job our family has needed in the last couple years and we've turned to Sun Coast each time. (Two different homes, with three different roof issues. Yes, it's been a weird couple years.) As it turned out, the third time was the biggest and most difficult to arrange, due to an insurance claim issue associated with a recent hail storm. Following a thorough inspection and true to his word, Eric from Sun Coast maneuvered his way through the maze of insurance company demands and came through for us, exactly as he said he would. Way very cool. The entire Sun Coast team is outstanding, from Chris the Manager and his staff, to the guys on the roof, they do a great job, all the way through cleanup. You can't ask for more than that. Well, you can ask, but why bother? Like I said, when you find a good contractor, stick with them. We're sincerely hoping we won't need to call on them again, but if we get a nasty storm season, you can bet we'll be calling Sun Coast. Again.

Update, warning. Please read full review. I want to first reiterate that the actual roof project went perfectly. Chris, Jarvis and the crew all did a spectacular job and provided follow up as needed. BUT the problem came from their corporate office. I wasn't aware that my warranty would not be registered until my financing was paid in full. Alright, I paid the balance off at the end of June. Waited for warranty package to arrive. Waited a while, checked back with GAF still no warranty. Then Dorian started up so I checked again. Two months later still no warranty. I wanted that warranty in effect before Dorian hit my house. Long story short, it took multiple contacts and my having to call the Attorney General's office to get any action. I finally got confirmation of the warranty last Friday, August 30th. While I would still highly recommend Sun Coast, just be aware that you must check with GAF to be certain your warranty has been registered. You may have to put pressure on their corporate office to get the job done. I hope mine was an isolated incident but I don't want anyone to feel protected by a warranty that corporate failed to register.

After Hurricane Michael, I had to reroof two houses. One was done by a different contractor and I had a very bad experience. So I learned the building code and how to roof my house. Sun Coast Roofing did an excellent job, and I know because I watched them do it right. Peel and Stick underlayment, quality GAF shingles with the right number of nails in the right places and not overdriven, professional and courteous crew. Eric Johnsa, my salesman and main point of contact, answered all my questions and was very responsive. The price was slightly lower than what insurance paid me. I don't know how I could have asked for a better experience.

I just wanted to comment on the beautiful job Sun Coast Roofing and Solar did on our home in Melbourne, FL. Also the great customer service we received through out the whole process. Will Redmond did an outstanding job regarding any concerns that we had. They provided every service that was on the contract that we negotiated with them. I would highly recommend their services and have already referred someone to Will.
