This is one horrible corrupt company I have had issues with them ever since I came to this area 25 years ago. First they had the electric wires running directly over the house and refused to remove them even though it was a safety issue and could burn the house down. One of their employees lived next door and refused to allow it to go down the side of his property so I had to pay to have it put underground. This was in Sattersfields day. He told me he did not like my attitude. Prior to installing the new meters I was using 9 kwh a day after the new meters they said I was using 19 kwh a day. Their excuse - the old meters were running slow. Their employees are allowed to take a truck home every day and use Blue Ridge equipment and man power at will. I have witnessed them felling trees for the neighbor, installing equipment pouring gravel with Blue Ridge equipment and most likely their gravel. Recently their were four trucks over their wit h the Blue Ridge Employee who lives next door, In the middle of the day they were working on installing power on the property. I took pictures. I also complained to Rural Electrification in Raleigh and sent them pictures. It is not right how they waste our money, The pick up every day alone is a huge expense - the gasoline the upkeep of the truck, tires etc. This man has a 50 miles round trip every day add that up times how many employees. They lie too i-initially they told me he was the only one because he was the radio man. I mean doesn't everyone have a cell phone. The new building was not necessary the old one was adequate and their excuse for the exotic building was they had to keep up with Brasstown. Resort. They got caught once but they are still as crooked as ever.

I have been trying to get power run to a property I purchased to begin construction... No call in over three weeksoweeks even a courtesy of a time frame. I understand the virus situation... But you can at least provide a time frame to install power. Very frustrating. Wish there was another power company option.

We are so grateful for this service. If the power goes out they are quick to respond and work through snow, lightening, and torrential rains to get it back on. Always improving internet service areas, and they are solar friendly and progressive.

Only giving 1 star because it wouldn't allow me to not rate it and still leave a response. This is the WORST company I have ever seen. The internet is always messing up and they could not give a care in the world about it. I really hope another service comes in and takes over.

Paid $3620 for temporary service. After 4 weeks , still no service. I called and was told we owe $126 dollars more and THEN they would put us on the install list . ANOTHER 2 or 3 weeks to wait . Anyone there could have called , texted , emailed or mailed a letter and we would have gladly paid it to get service. Or they worried we would not pay after giving them almost $4000 ????? Sorry monologs !!
