Happy Joe's Pizza & Ice Cream - Rock Island

Quick delivery and THE BEST Taco Pizza. Nice place to dine in as well.

ABSOLUTELY the most awful experience I've ever had at a happy Joe's. I rode my bike and took my 2 year old son to the park. I told him I would take him for ice cream and pizza. We walked in and were the only customers in the resturant. I saw a total of 4 employees staffed at the time. I sat there for ten minutes and looked up multiple times but no one acknowledged us. My son noticed a color mat and was asking for colors. I was extremely thirsty from riding in the heat. I finally asked a girl if she was gonna wait on us and she came out and asked me to repeat myself, when I did she said that I needed to go and order at the carry out window. Really with a screaming child I told her I would prefer that she took my order. She said can I go help the lady at the window first. Wow! I then ordered milk and water. Since I was on a bicycle I didnt want to waste food so I thought I'll get a little Joe. I asked for half pepperoni and half Canadian bacon kraut because my son doesnt like kraut. She actually told me no. I told her my situation and just make it any way. Then the another employee (I'm assuming the manager) she was sweating all over like she had been outside! again she told me that they will not make me a half and half little Joe it's against there rules. It even says in the menu any pizza can be ordered half and half and they charge it as the more expensive one. I was mad so I left and came to Harris and got a half and half pizza and was waited on immediately. Lots of people here. Now I know why no one was at Happy Joe's! On my way she told me not to be rude! I will never go back! Judging from some of the other comments letting $ walk out the door is no biggie here! Good luck! We will get a copy of this over to Bettendorf for you.

Taco pizza oh so good

I remember when their pizza came with cheese and toppings.The 1/8th of the pizza that had toppings was good though.But for $30 One would think you'd get adequate toppings.

Usually love the Taco Pizza but half had no cheese or sauce. It was really bad
