Sun Dollar Energy installed a 32 panel, 10 kw solar system on my house. From the first meeting with the salesperson (Micah), the office coordinator (Alexis), the site review (Brandon), the engineer that designed the system (Greg) and the owner (Dan)...All have been friendly, helpful, professional and knowledgeable. They have helped me through the early days while I was getting used to the system, answering questions, responding to my texts and phone calls (even on the weekends). Outstanding customer service! Very professional installation! Excellent follow-up! The passion for their customers shows in all they do! If you want to explore solar, there is only one company that I would recommend and that is Sun Dollar Energy.

Nothing but nice things to say about SDE. From my very first call to them to the installation; every step was easy, prompt and professional. My system looks and functions as expected and the crew was polite and efficient. Cleaned up when done and explained how it all works before they left, could not ask for more.

If you are considering solar power in NC, you must contact Sun Dollar Energy. They are a local company that will guide you through the entire process of solar panel installation/management. If you ever have a question, you call a NC number and talk to a knowledgeable professional, often times the owner, Dan. The quote was very competitive, and the installation a breeze. I recommend Sun Dollar to anyone interested in solar panel systems.

We had a very good experience with Sun Dollar. We especially appreciated their work ensuring we obtained the Duke rebate. We interviewed four companies and they were the one we chose. If we had it to do over we would choose them again. UPDATE - we had Sun Dollar remove and reinstall our panels when we had to get our roof replaced. Not only was their work top notch, but they even moved two panels to improve our output given the minor changes in our roof. Thanks for the outstanding service - highly recommend!

Sun Dollar Energy installed my solar summer 2019. They walked me through cost and layout of panels; the job was completed quickly and well; and the panels are functioning marvelously.They also came out to my house when I thought I had squirrels on my roof without charge, and when I later bought a squirrel guard (which I highly recommend) the employee offered to cut a few branches off a tree that was near the roof.More importantly, they have been fantastic with customer service, answering both texts and emails without delay and making sure all my questions were answered. I love that they are local, quick to respond to issues, and always willing to help.I cannot recommend them enough. Dan and his team have taken done a fantastic job on my house, and I would do business with them again.
