Alder Energy Systems

Benny and his team of talented folks at Alder Solar Energy worked with us from August 2019-January 2020 to get a 5000+kW system up and running on our residential property in GA. We had obtained estimates from 4 companies and extensively reviewed proposals, products, warranties from all. Although Alder's proposal was slightly more than the lowest bid we received, we felt that their responsiveness, previous work history, knowledge of the system and various available products, and integrity were critical in deciding to work with them. We had one estimate from a different company that guaranteed way more than what was possible, and Benny helped explain what was realistic for our property. He did not try to oversell a system that wouldn't produce energy. We felt that Alder worked to ensure we were fully aware of the plans and responded to a million questions we had. We were more than pleased with our final system and it has gotten lots of positive comments from neighbors. The system works great and is performing better than we estimated! We would absolutely recommend Alder for solar energy installs.

Benny Mosiman took the time to fully explain all the intricate details of my system and the way that Net metering works in South Carolina. He wasnt trying to sell me as much as he was educating me. His proposal was super detailed and forthright. I couldnt be happier with my system and experience working with Benny. Highly recommend.

Alder Energy did a great job explaining the different options and what to expect from the system. The installation went very well and so far it has been a great investment. Very good communication and customer service.

Benny Mosiman is MY HERO!!!I hang my head in shame for not doing research prior to purchasing solar panels for my home in 2015... Brio Energy was 'selling' door to door and I jumped on the opportunity to be one of the first in my neighborhood to have solar panels... Geez...what a bad decision. The install was HORRIBLE and once the panels were installed (mid-May), it took five months to get the inspections done and get connected and begin production. (The install was done in May, but we did not get connected and begin production until October 31!)Mid-December, 2019, I noticed that my converter box had a fault code on it, so I called the company that did my install - Altaray Solar- who I found out had since filed bankruptcy and went out of business... OMG...now what??!!?? Panic set in, as you can well imagine.I then started researching solar companies here in Charleston and found Alder Energy. After having read reviews of many folks in the same or similar situation as I was, I called and spoke to Benny. From the first call to the last, he was responsive, educated, professional and most helpful!! Because I called at the end of the year, his schedule was full and he couldn't get me on the calendar, but Benny went above and beyond by emailing me weekly with updates (after having my system ownership transferred to Alder Energy from Altaray). He was able to see my system and found that an optimizer was out... He did an offsite re-set and VIOLA - everything is back to working again!! After a few days, he sent another email saying that the optimizer was working again... Just amazing! Ahhhhh... The high power bills will stop again - I got a little spoiled with the lower bills...!I was fretting over a huge repair bill. But, I don't have one, thanks to Benny!I could go on for a while about the awesome service that Benny provided to me... He has even agreed to 'give me a tour' of my solar system since I had such a horrible installation experience. (No one went over anything with me on install completion - even left my paperwork out in the weather...)Alder Energy is VERY LUCKY to have Benny Mosiman as part of their team!! What a true professional!

Better quote for a better product than the 4 other vendors I spoke to. Great to work with before and after install. They even helped me resolve an issue with my original builder thanks to their attention to detail.
